Ok, so there's a story buried in here somewhere.

Here's the long and short.

What I call, a Major Grammatical Event, or M.G.E., has occured in the album artwork. It's not a typo and it's not misspelled, AND it IS grammatically correct.
It's just not what we were trying to say. That's where the term, Major Grammatical Event (M.G.E.) comes from.

But first, let me introduce myself. I guess you could say I'm the "art director" for Starfish and Coffee. Or better yet, the FORMER "art director" :-)

I swear, you mess up one time - branded for life.

So what if it's the most important sentence in the album artwork.

"We'd like to thank our families, friends, fans...etc."

Well, it didn't exactly come out that way. It came out like this:

"We'd like to like our families, friends, fans...etc."

That sentence was written, then rewritten, copied, pasted, and emailed about 500 times. I KNEW what it was supposed to say and my brain processed it that way. Heck, it was correct on every draft except for the final one. Even with a few people proof reading it, we never saw it until it was too late.

So, we have experienced several waves of emotion on this M.G.E.

There was the initial shock, then panic, anger, and now finally, humor. Some of our relatives laughed and even thought we purposly wrote it that way.

Well, I guess, what I'm trying to say is: We DO like you :-D and we do THANK you.

Thank You for understanding,

Bo Bentley
